1 kg - Chicken
2 - Onion
4 to 5 - Green chillies
1 big piece - Cinnamon
8 - Cloves
5 to 6 - Cardamom
Salt to taste
For paste:
8 to 10 - Badam or Cashews
1/2 tsp - white pepper
8 pods - Garlic
small piece - Ginger
Clean and wash chicken.
Cut the onion and cook in a little water till soft. Grind to a paste.
Heat oil in a pan. Add cinnamon, clove, cardamom, green chillies, onion paste and fry for 2min.
Add chicken, badam paste and salt to taste.
Mix well and let it cook in a low flame till done.
This will be thick gravy. If you want a thin one, you can add more water and make it thin.
Serve with naan and rotis.
